PAUL GREGORY, CEO

Paul is a veteran entrepreneur, founding several successful technology companies before joining pre-IPO EnerNOC to help utilities and large facilities manage energy demand.

Paul founded NuCall Communications, a pioneer of web-based communications applications. Previously, Paul built New England Telecom into a $30 million stored-value technology company which was acquired by a public company. Paul’s first venture, Perishables by Air—still in operation— specializes in commercialization and export of underutilized oceanic species. Paul holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Petroleum and Minerals (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and a business degree from Babson College (Wellesley, MA) and has lived, studied and worked all over the world. Paul’s achievements have been profiled in the Cape Cod Times, Boston Globe, the Boston Business Journal and The Wall Street Journal. Paul is a Sheriff’s Deputy in Worcester County, served as a Junior Delegate to the United Nations and is on the Board of Advisors for the Mass-CleanTech InnoVenture Center, is Chair of Babson’s Green Alumni Forum, and serves on the Revenue Committee for Congregation Shirat Hayam. Paul lives in Marblehead, MA with his wife Jahna and children Lily, Rachael and Max.

 

DON COLEY, Chief Marketing Officer/ Executive VP Marketing and Sales

Don has delivered unique insights , game –changing strategies and powerful results in marketing, sales and business strategy in Fortune 100 to start-up environments. Don leads the integrated Magniture marketing and sales team .In addition, he also serves as a board advisor to start-ups on innovative growth and strategic alliances.

During many years of exponential growth at Bose®, Mr. Coley collaborated to lead the ideation and marketing of numerous innovative and market first products and programs which became icons of the Bose brand. These breakthrough products created new categories, major revenue streams, and were widely imitated by other manufacturers.

Don led numerous teams which delivered market-first products including Acoustimass®-5 Speakers -launched in 1987 and named one of the 10 Best Consumer Electronics products of all time in 2006, as well as the Bose entry into the home theater category. He also was principal in over 40 new Bose® products and launches including the Acoustimass®, Lifestyle®, BUILT-INvisible,® 901®, and 3 2 1® families.
Don has also served with distinction on the Board of Directors, as VP , President and Charity Auction Chairman of The Upton Men’s Club, a leading 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

 

Donald H.Hunter – CFO

Don has been a financial and operating consultant to software companies and systems integrators since 2007, where he worked with private equity investors to enhance the value of their portfolio investments. Previously, Mr. Hunter was COO and CFO of Harbor Global Company, Ltd., a diversified international company, which he spun-off into a publicly traded company in 2000 and sold in 2006. From 1998 to 2000, he was the Senior Vice President and COO of Pioneer Global Investments, a division of The Pioneer Group, Inc. involved in international investment management and alternative natural resources investments. From 1992 to 1998, he was the Manager of International Finance at Pioneer, with corporate financial responsibility for Pioneer’s international initiatives. Prior to 1992, Mr. Hunter served in various finance roles at Pioneer and General Electric Company. Mr. Hunter has also served as a Director of several foreign subsidiaries of these entities.

 

Jack Swig, General Counsel

Most recently, for more than 12 years Mr. Swig served as General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Development for Microfluidics International Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer of nanoscale formulation equipment used worldwide in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics/personal care, and food industries. Mr. Swig also served that company on a contracted basis from July 1993 until December 31, 1996 as General Counsel and Investor Relations Manager. Both prior to that time and until August of 2000 Mr. Swig was the General Counsel and Senior Manager of G&G Diagnostics Limited Partnerships, venture capital limited partnerships investing in human medical diagnostics and therapeutics on behalf of a large pharmaceutical company. Prior to that Mr. Swig was self employed for 5 years as an attorney and legal and financial consultant. Prior to 1987 for 7 years Mr. Swig served in positions as General Counsel and Co-Director of the Corporate Finance and Lending Groups in a Boston-based private merchant bank. Mr, Swig is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. He is a past director of the North Shore Technology Council and continues to serve on various committees, including as Co-Chair of its Biomedical Technology Section. He is a Board Member of North Shore InnoVentures, Inc., a non-profit technology business accelerator launched in 2009 to operate a life sciences and biomedical new business accelerator in Beverly, MA and a Cleantech/Sustainability new business accelerator in Lynn, MA.

 

ARCHIE KASNET, Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO)

Archie is Magniture's Chief Sustainability officer, has spent his career created sustainable solutions for the real estate sector as an investor, building contractor, developer and founder of Building Extranet—an online service streamlining the broker-owner-lender process. While obtaining a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership for Sustainability in Karlskrona, Sweden, Archie developed a program to embed sustainability into Intrawest Corporation core real estate operations. Archie authored the U.S domestic energy security position paper for Senator Joseph Biden's presidential platform and was a contributing author to the paper titled “Healthy Solutions for the Low Carbon Economy” published through Harvard Medical School's Center for Health and the Global Environment and a consultant to the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment. Archie is a partner at Aedi Group, holding company that funds and builds Co-Profit sustainable technology and development companies. Archie is a consultant to domestic and international real estate development companies on sustainable design criteria. Archie is a graduate of Gettysburg College where he created an Independent Studies around Environmental Studies, Latin American Studies, and Economics with a focus on sustainable development. He has lived abroad, published papers, and is dedicated to sharing the framework of strategic sustainable development
